MW3 - Ban Hammer?

So the ban hammer is/has gone by, and so far I haven't been banned. Just for anyone who didn't know, the ban hammer went around because of the Prestige & prestige token exploit.

They are planning to do another one if it hasn't already begun, because they banned a whole bunch of people, but didn't patch the glitch. (Because they're dumbasses.)

So, did you guys get banned for doing the glitch? Are you nervous about getting banned when the second ban wave comes?

How to "Fix" ranks not updating in MW3..

Introduction

As some of you may already know a huge amount of people's,
previous ranks from other CoD games, are not updating on the MW3 player card.
Hopefully this detailed guide will fix the issue for you.

Directions

On your PS3, Select Network > Internet Browser
Once the browser has loaded, press triangle and select File > Address Entry
Hold down the square button to delete the address listed, and then type in "http://canyouseeme.org"
Next to "What Port?", type "80". This will obtain the port status of 80 (open, connection refused, or timed out).
Repeat this process for 443, 3074, 3478, 3479, 3658, 5223.
Because the necessary ports are displaying as closed or timed out, the game will not be able to send and receive data properly with the servers.
The first thing you will need to do, is assign a static IP address to your Playstation 3.
For information on how to assign a static IP address to your Playstation 3, check out "http://portforward.com/networking/staticip-ps3-playstation-3.htm"
Once you have assigned a static IP to your console, please follow the steps at "http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/NAME OF ROUTER/YOUR ROUTER NUMBER/PS3_Call_of_Duty_-_Modern_Warfare_3.htm", to forward the necessary ports for teh PS3
If you are unable to forward the necessary ports for this game, you may want to assign the static IP address for your console as the DMZ Host of your router.
For any assistance regarding; ports, DMZ, or assigning a static IP address, contact your ISP and/or router/modem manufacturer.

well yeah i joined because Dream (somewhiteguy) helped me out editing some patches for MW2. I joined the forums and then something happened (forgot what) and everyone had to make a new account.

Staff will be appointed by myself, and myself alone. If you want to become a staff member (Super mod basically) then this is what you have to do:

1) Be active. (On at least once a day.)
2) Help people as much as possible.
3) Try and help me with any suggestions you might have for the site.

It is really that simple.

Just wanted to say a couple of random things about gaming lol.

#1 - If you were wondering what game to buy, MW3 or BF3? I would definitely reccommend MW3. This is because MW3 just didn't live up to all the hype that it got before release. Everybody was expecting it to be like BF2 and it wasn't. MW3 is what i reccommend because it has the same old Call of Duty feel with a bunch of updates. Its a great game, but the only think I dislike is the spawns. Definitely get MW3.

#2 - I'll be getting 6 hours of x2 XP tomorrow, because our clan has just reached level 24. (NL$1 - NoLimit$oldiers)

#3 - I'm always looking for some new people to play CoD with.. I'd prefer if you were a decent player of course.. I play mostly kill confirmed, team deathmatch and Search & Destroy. Add me up on PS3: TradeForTragedy.

[TuT] CoD4 USB (Prestige) Hack [FAST & EASY]

Alright. Well i recently edited some codes that i thought some of you would find useful.
These are Prestige hack codes.
Fairly easy to do, and its fast.
Directions and more information is below.

What you will need:

CoD4

Patch Blocker

If you don't know how
to use patch blocker, click HERE

How you do it:

Make sure you have "Patch Blocker" up and blocking with your "PS3".

On your "PS3" delete the CoD4 UPDATE!!!!

Bring the "USB" to your "PS3", go under "Game" then "Savedata Utility".

Go down to "CoD4 Player Profile" and Copy to the "USB".

After you do that, Bring the "USB" to your "PC". Open up your "USB", keep clicking till you see "GPAD0_CM" and "GPAD0_MP" along with some other files.

Open up "GPAD0_CM" and open it up with "Notepad", once you do that "Delete" everything you see, then copy and paste this following code:

Then after you do this take your "USB" out and put it in your "PS3". Go under "Game" then "Savedata Utility". Go to "USB" and then "Copy & Overwrite" the save profile.

Once you do that, start up "CoD4", and go to "Splitscreen Lobby", wait 5 seconds, then start the game.

Then pick whatever class, then press "X" on your controller to see the button commands. Select whatever prestige you want, then back out. Go to regular pre game lobby, then you should be whatever prestige you picked.

NOTE: It's optional, but it allows you to max out leaderboard stats.

This hack i just showed you, let's you select whatever prestige, and also an option for leaderboards. However, it does not unlock all. But if you would like to view the tutorial to actually unlock all with a USB, view this thread below.

Update:

I Realized if you are doing this to gain a prestige token in MW3, it might not show up. The developers are aware of this issue, and it will be fixed soon.
